UFC 210 featured Daniel Cormier winning the rematch against Anthony Johnson by second-round submission to retain the light heavyweight championship. After the fight, Cormier told Jon Jones to get his (expletive) together so they can fight again. Before that happened, Johnson announced his retirement from MMA to pursue another venture.
The co-main event had Gegard Mousasi beating Chris Weidman by second-round TKO.
But it didn't come without controversy. Mousasi landed a knee while Weidman had one hand on the ground. Weidman had two hands on the ground and Mousasi lifted Weidman's arms up and kneed him. Referee Dan Miragliotta put a halt to the action thinking Weidman had two hands on the mat which would have made the knees illegal under the new unified rules that were adopted at the beginning of 2017.
