UFC Boss Dana White And Khabib Nurmagomedov To Meet In Abu Dhabi

Dana White says 30-0 could be on the horizon for lightweight king Khabib Nurmagomedov.

UFC President White told reporters during his post-fight scrum following Saturday's UFC Las Vegas 15 that the current plan is to meet with the number one pound-for-pound fighter in Abu Dhabi.

"We'll be there sometime soon, I'll let you know when you need to know," White told the press.

White has remained confident the current lightweight champion Nurmagomedov will step foot in the Octagon again following his retirement announcement at UFC 254. During the presser, White reiterated his belief that "The Eagle" will return to the Octagon.

"I do," the UFC President asserted. "He hasn't said that to me but I do."

Nurmagomedov announced his retirement moments after submitting Justin Gaethje in the second-round at UFC 254.

"No way I'm going to come here without my father," he asserted.

Nurmagomedov, via his Instagram, stated he would see the UFC boss "soon".  This only increased speculation that Nurmagomedov will end his retirement.
