Reigning UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has undergone surgery to repair a ligament in his right hand.
UFC President Dana White confirmed the news via the following tweet, showing the before and after photos of Usman's hand during the procedure. The welterweight king's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, also confirmed to ESPN that Usman is targeting a return to the Octagon in July, during the promotion's International Fight Week, and at a yet-to-be-announced UFC 276 event.
