UFC Fight Night Atlantic City Weigh-In Results, Kevin Lee Misses Weight & 2 Fights Pulled From The Card

The UFC Fight Night Atlantic City weigh-ins are in the books and there were some mishaps the day before the big event. Two fighters, Kevin Lee and Aspen Ladd, missed weight for their respective fights, as Lee missed by 1 pound and Ladd missed by 1.8 pounds.

Lee would issue the following statement through both Instagram and Twitter:

Outside of the two competitors missing weight, one fight was canceled as Magomed Bibulatov was pulled from a fight against Ulka Saska after the state athletic commission deemed him medically unfit to fight due to an alleged back injury.

Sasaki did issue a statement on the matter through Instagram:

A second fight has now been pulled from the card as Leslie Smith has refused to fight Aspen Ladd after Ladd missed weight by 1.8 pounds.

Ladd issued the following statement on Twitter about the situation:

 

I apologize to my opponent @ufc @UFCFightPass @Mickmaynard2 @danawhite my team, my fam and all the fans. I was 1.8 lbs over, I was told she would not take the fight. We offered an additional $5,000 along with the 20% purse deduction, no go on her end, I tried to make it right.
