Hunt recently lost the final battle in the lawsuit after a judge ruled against him in November of this year, but now the promotion Hunt once worked for is going after him for attorney fees.
Paul Gift of Bloody Elbow recently took to Twitter to show legal documents showing that the UFC is going after Hunt to have him pay their attorney’s fees:
Ouch. #UFC filed a motion to recover $302K in attorney's fees and $86K in costs from Mark Hunt for being the prevailing party in his lawsuit. $388K in total. pic.twitter.com/HecGqRnlvc

The UFC is seeking $388,000 from Hunt, who has yet to respond to the request from the UFC. It should be noted that just because the UFC has requested the money from Hunt, it doesn’t guarantee that the promotion will get the funds or that Hunt won’t challenge it. Hunt had sought $2.5 million from the UFC in his lawsuit, but now it appears that the fighter could wind up paying the promotion when it is all said and done.
