While their respective MMA careers may not have panned out exactly as planned, a pair of UFC veterans in Chris Leben and Phil Baroni will take to the World Bare Knuckle Boxing Federation (WBKBF) ring.

The fight announcement was revealed through a video posted on the WBKBF Facebook page:

Leben himself also revealed the news through a post on Instagram:

This is the first time Leben has competed at all since retiring from MMA due to a newly revealed heart condition in 2016. Leben had just signed a contract with Bellator MMA when the heart condition was discovered, it also canceled a potential revenge fight with fellow UFC fighter Josh Koscheck. Leben has yet to reveal if he plans on making an MMA comeback one day or will strictly be competing in bare knuckle boxing bouts going forward. Baroni also recently returned to MMA action at a King Of The Cage event earlier this year, but may be better known for dick picks that he posted recently on Twitter.
