Nate Diaz has released footage of him and his brother Nick Diaz training, with the Stockton natives aiming to return to the Octagon in 2021.
They released the footage on Nate's YouTube channel and the pair look to be in tremendous condition. Nate was last seen against Jorge Masvidal in the BMF championship fight at UFC 244, where he lost by TKO (doctor's stoppage). More recently, Nate has been chiming into the Jake Paul vs. Conor McGregor saga by threatening Paul and saying the YouTuber turned boxer needs to get bis "ass beat."
Nick, meanwhile, has constantly flirted with the idea of returning to the Octagon. Nick hasn't been seen since UFC 183 where he lost to Anderson Silva by unanimous decision. He has had many issues since that fight that have halted his career, including a USADA suspension for failing to report his location per the guidelines of the anti-doping policy. As recently as 2019, Nick teased a return and even said to Ariel Helwani that he would be open to a fight with Jorge Masvidal, who was just coming off the win over little brother Nate.
The video shows the pair in fine shape and MMA fans will be hoping that two of the most popular fighters in MMA will return in 2021, and we may even see them a few times throughout the year.
