“Yeah, I will come back to 135,” Kunitskaya said after the event.

Kunitskaya did hold the Invicta FC Bantamweight Title before coming to the UFC, defeating Raquel Pa’aluhi to claim the gold at Invicta FC 25.

Early in the first round against Cyborg at UFC 222, a surging Kunitskaya scored a takedown on the champion and kept the Brazilian down for quite some time, but feel disappointed in how the rest of the bout played out.

“It’s why I’m so sad, because I feel I can control this fight at some points,” Kunitskaya said. “But what happened, everyone saw.”

Even though the former Invicta Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion announcer her plans to return to the division, no time frame has been established at this time as to when that fight could come.
