It is the dream for most MMA fighters to compete inside of the world famous Octagon in their career, it is also the dream for d-level celebrities as well.
Youtube personality Logan Paul has shared his interest in fighting for the UFC, including naming potential opponents such as CM Punk and former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor.
“I want to fight a UFC fighter,” he said to TMZ. “I’ve wrestled my whole life. There’s literally no reason I can’t. I’ve done athletics my whole life.”
Paul has virtually no combat sports experience to speak of, other than some amateur wrestling during his pre-obscure celebrity days.
The Youtube personality has even asked UFC President Dana White to pick an opponent for his long dreamed of promotional debut.
“Dana White, you watching this bro? Pick a fighter for me. Pick a fighter for me dude. Late next year,” says Paul.
Sports personalities have entered the realm of professional MMA before, including the aforementioned CM Punk, former NFL star Greg Hardy, former MLB star Jose Conseco, former Impact Wrestling X Division Champion Kid Kash, former boxing great James Toney and a host of others.
Nobody from the UFC has yet to respond to the request made by Paul.
