Dark Side Of The Cage To Premiere In January, Will Cover Ronda Rousey, Matt Hughes, Kimbo Slice, More

Weili actually left China weeks ahead of the UFC 248 event due to both the travel restrictions and self-quarantining surrounding the coronavirus

The champion chose to stay in Las Vegas, Nevada after the event for the six weeks to minimize the risk of traveling during the pandemic.

There is no word at this time as to when Weili plans on fighting again, but Jedrzejczyk has already called for a rematch with the champion.

Dana White did say that the UFC is building a “Fight Island” as well as holding future events in the UFC Apex, so Weili’s next title defense is likely to happen from one of those two locations.
