The New Day makes fun of Corey Graves & Booker T's rivalry during SmackDown Live.
The arrival of Jonathan Coachman as Booker T's replacement on the Monday Night RAW commentary team, arose the question of: "Why was Booker T was being moved to the pre and post-PPV shows". The WWE Hall Of Famer gave his take on why he was removed from the RAW commentary team, over his podcast, 'Heated Conversations'.
Booker T placed the blame on Corey Graves for his removal from the commentary desk, due to Graves' wittiness towards Booker on Monday night's. The former World Heavyweight Champion had the following to say about Corey Graves on the podcast:
"If I got Corey Graves into a fist a cuff, I would beat him down like he stole something. I would be whipping his a** all day long. I’m a nice guy until you get on my bad side. Corey Graves right now, I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s on my bad side, [but] he’s the reason that I’m not on Monday Night RAW right now."
Corey Graves would briefly respond to Booker's comments twice; once on Twitter and the other, live on Monday Night RAW.
During last night's RAW, Graves would jokingly tell Jonathan Coachman: "Watch out Coach, or pretty soon you're gonna be doing afternoon radio locally." The New Day would add on to the back and forth between Booker T & Corey Graves as the trio hosted a fan Q&A session during SmackDown Live. Big E, Kofi & Xavier would go on to respond to being placed 6th on the SmackDown top-ten superstars list and responded with: “Sixth? That’s the percentage I would give Corey in a street fight”. The former SmackDown Live Tag-Team Champions appear to be very aware of the situation between the two WWE announcers.
