Match By Match Recap

Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Kushida, Tiger Mask IV & HIrai Kawato vs. Suzuki-Gun (Taka Michinoku, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desparado)

The match begins with a brawl breaking out all over the place while Taichi and Liger battle in the ring, Liger hits a charging Taichi with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Mask IV tags in and he double teams Taichi alongside Liger, Michinoku interferes and Mask IV takes him out with a tiger driver. Kushida and Desparado get the tags from their respective partners, Kanemaru interferes before Kushida takes him and Desparado out with a double handspring elbow strike. Kushida locks Desparado in the Hoverboard Lock and Desparado eventually powers out, Kushida goes for an arm bar and Desparado reverses him into a stretch muffler.

Desparado and Kushida get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Kushida eventually drops Desparado with a pele kick. Desparado knocks Kushida out of the ring before landing a suicide dive, Kanemaru tags in and he works over Kushida alongside Desparado. Kushida recovers and he sends Kanemaru crashing into Desparado, Kawato tags in and he nails Kanemaru with forearm strikes. Kanemaru is then quadruple teamed by the opposing team, Kawato then hits Kanemaru with a springboard drop kick. A brawl breaks out on the arena floor between everybody in the match, Kanemaru levels Kawato with a clothesline in the ring. Taichi nails Kawato with a power bomb and Kanemaru hits him with Deep Impact for the three count.

Winners: Suzuki-Gun (Taka Michinoku, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desparado)

After the match, El Desparado and Kushida have a huge brawl that spills into the crowd.

Manabu Nakanishi & Yuji Nagata vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa)

The match begins with Loa attacking Nagata from behind and a brawl breaks out in the ring between all four competitors, Nakanishi and Nagata drop Loa with a double shoulder tackle. The brawl spills to the arena floor as Tama throws Nagata into the barricade, Tama throws Nagata into the ring and he works him over with strikes. Loa tags in and he double headbutts Nagata with Tama, Loa then hits Nagata with a running power slam for a near fall. Tama tags back in and he nails Nagata with shoulder smashes in the corner, Loa tags in and Nagata quickly catches him in a cross face.

Tama hits the ring and Nagata assaults him with elbow strikes, Tama legally tags in after awhile and he attacks Nagata with headbutts. Nagata recovers and nails a charging Tama with an overhead release suplex, Nakanishi tags in and he catches Tama with a few strikes. Nakanishi follows that up by catching Tama with a short arm clothesline, Loa jumps Nakanishi from behind to help Tama out. Nakanishi recovers to hit both opponents with a double overhead release suplex, Nakanishi nails Tama with a clothesline for a near fall. Nagata applies the Nagata Lock to Loa and Nakanishi holds Tama in a torture rack, Tama breaks free and he breaks his brother free as well.

Tama and Loa recover to hit Nakanishi with a double drop kick, Tama and Loa attack Nakanishi with a series of double team moves for a near fall. Nagata and tama brawl again on the arena floor, Loa nails Nakanishi with a sit out pile driver for the three count.

Winners: Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa)

David Finlay & Togi Makabe vs. Chaos (Yoshi-Hashi & Hirooki Goto)

The match begins with Finlay dropping a charging Yoshi-Hashi with an elbow strike, Finlay goes to the ring apron and Yoshi-Hashi knocks him to the arena floor. Yoshi-Hashi goes outside the ring and he throws Finlay into the barricade, Yoshi-Hashi brings Finlay back into the ring and places him on the top rope before landing a drop kick. Goto tags in and he kicks a downed Finlay in the back, Goto slows things down by holding Finlay in a chin lock. Goto traps Finlay in the corner before landing a running clothesline, Finlay recovers and drops Goto with a drop kick. Makabe tags in and he quickly cleans house on the opposing team, Makabe crushes Goto with a clothesline in the corner.

Makabe mounts Goto in the corner while assaulting him with punches, Goto recovers to nail Makabe with a spin kick in the corner. Makabe and Goto exchange clotheslines until they both go down, Finlay and Yoshi-Hashi get the tags from their respective partners, Finlay catches Yoshi-Hashi with a series of diving European uppercuts. Yoshi-Hashi drops Finlay and he locks him in the butterfly lock until Makabe breaks it up. Makabe then drops both members of Chaos with a double clothesline, Finlay then hits Yoshi-Hashi with a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Finlay would then catch Yoshi-Hashi with a roll up for a near fall, Yoshi-Hashi recovers to hit Finlay with a western lariat followed by Kharma for a three count.

Winners: Chaos (Yoshi-Hashi & Hirooki Goto)

Juice Robinson, Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi)

The match begins with a brawl breaking out between everybody in the match, Kojima and Tenzan double team everybody inside of the ring. Owens is then attacks by triple team moves on the inside of the ring, Robinson then catches Owens with a senton bomb. Tenzan stays in the ring and he nails Owens with strikes in the corner, Tenzan then catches Owens with a running clothesline in the corner. Takahashi interferes by tripping up Tenzan and another brawl breaks out on the arena floor, Owens works over Tenzan with strikes as things settle down. Owens also attacks Tenzan with his own Mongolian chops, Takahashi tags in and he catches Tenzan with a leg drop.

Tenzan fights back and he drops a charging Takahashi with a Samoan drop, Kojima tags in and he attacks Takahashi with machine gun chops in the corner. Owens interferes and he eats machine gun chops from Kojima, Fale hitsthe ring and he triple teams Kojima with the rest of his team. Fale hits Kojima with a splash so Takahashi can get a near fall on him, Kojima recovers to drop Owens and Takahashi with DDT’s. Fale hits the ring and Kojima quickly knocks him out of it, Robinson tags in before catching Owens and Takahashi with cannonballs, Robinson hits Owens with an inverted DDT for a near fall. Owens recovers and he catches a swinging Robinson with an enzaguri, Robinson recovers to hit Owens with a left followed by Pulp Friction for the three count.

Winners: Juice Robinson, Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match: The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) (Champions) vs. Taguchi Japan (Ryusuke Taguchi & Ricochet)

The match begins with Matt holding Taguchi in a headlock before dropping him with a shoulder tackle, Matt and Taguchi both go after each other with hip attacks. Ricochet and Nick get the tags from their respective partners, Ricochet catches a leaping Nick with a drop kick that knocks him to the arena floor. Ricochet then hits both Bucks with a suicide dive that sends them all crashing on the arena floor, Nick gets back in the ring and Ricochet nails him with a top rope European uppercut. Ricochet starts favoring his injured leg and Nick takes him out with a chop block, Matt tags in and he mauls Ricochet with strikes in the corner.

Ricochet tries fighting back and Matt drops him with a strike to the injured knee, Ricochet drops the Bucks with a clothesline before tagging Taguchi in. The Bucks quickly knock Taguchi to the arena floor, Ricochet attacks Matt on the arena floor before he accidentally kicks the ring post instead of Matt. The Bucks then hit Taguchi with a double team power bomb onto the ringside edge, Matt brings Taguchi into the ring for a near fall. Nick tags in and he nails Taguchi with a top rope axe handle drop to the back, Nick nails the back of Taguchi with a variety of strikes. Taguchi gets trapped in the corner before Nick nails him with a running knee strike, Nick nails Taguchi with an atomic drop before tagging Matt in.

Matt hits the ring after the tag to catch Taguchi with an atomic drop of his own, Nick tags in and he works with his brother to nail Taguchi with a double atomic drop. Taguchi recovers and he drops both Bucks with a double DDT, Ricochet tags in and he nails Nick with a rolling shotgun drop kick. Ricochet goes for the Benadiller and Nick nails him with a super kick instead, Matt tags in and he kicks away at the injured knee of Ricochet. Ricochet starts fighting back by dropping both Bucks with forearm strikes, Taguchi tags in and he hits both Bucks with a series of hip attacks. The Bucks roll out of the ring and Taguchi takes them both out with suicide dives, Taguchi then hits Matt with a springboard hip attack in the ring for a near fall.

The Bucks recover and catch a leaping Taguchi with a double atomic drop followed by a double super kick, the Bucks then hit Taguchi with a double knee strike for a near fall. Ricochet tags in and he catches a leaping Nick before Matt nails him with a super kick to the injured knee, Matt locks Ricochet in the sharp shooter and Ricochet gets to the ropes. Nick nails a still downed Ricochet with a swnaton bomb, Matt reapplies the sharp shooter on Ricochet and Taguchi shoves Nick into Matt to break the hold up. Nick takes out Taguchi with a penalty kick on the arena floor, the Buck nail Ricochet with a power bomb into an enzaguri in the corner.

The Bucks go for More Bang For Your Buck and Ricochet gets his knees up against Nick, Ricochet catches Matt with a roll up before eating a super kick to the knee. The Bucks go for the Indytaker and Ricochet breaks it up with a springboard hip attack, Ricochet then takes a distracted Matt out. Ricochet nails Matt with a shooting star press for the three count.

Winners: Taguchi Japan (Ryusuke Taguchi & Ricochet), your new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions

IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match: War Machine (Raymond Rowe & Hanson) (Champions) vs. Bullet Club (Hangman Page & Cody)

The match begins with Cody nailing Rowe with a few strikes before Page tags in, Hanson hits the ring and distracts Cody so Rowe can slam him. Rowe then slams Hanson on top of a downed Cody and Page, Rowe crashes into the corner after Cody pulls Page out of the way. Cody tags in and he mauls Rowe with some strikes in the corner, Rowe starts fighting back until Cody slows him down to tag Page back in. Page mauls Rowe with strikes in the corner before tagging Cody back in, Rowe drops Cody before tagging Hanson in.

Hanson quickly takes out both opponents with a plethora of strikes, Hanson then clobbers both opponents with a series of running clotheslines in the corner. Hanson then hits Cody with an avalanche in the corner, Cody would eventually trap Hanson in the ropes before landing a flat liner for a near fall. Page tags in before working with Cody to attack Hanson with some kicks, Page drops Hanson before landing a senton bomb for a near fall. Cody tags back in and he catches Hanson with a second rope fist drop, Cody waits a moment before cracking Hanson with a knee strike. Page tags in and he works with Cody to nail Hanson with a double suplex, Page gets angry and he chokes Hanson by the ring ropes.

Cody tags back in and he gets dropped alongside Hanson as they both go for clotheslines, Page and Rowe get the tags from their respective partners. Rowe then catches a backing Page with a shotgun drop kick, Rowe drops Cody before slamming Page on top of him. Rowe then hits Page with a back breaker into a gut buster, Hanson hits the ring and he nails Cody with a whoopie cushion. Cody recovers and he attacks Rowe with the Cross Rhodes, Hanson returns to take out both opponents with a double handspring elbow strike. Hanson and Cody take their fight to the arena floor before Hanson throws Cody over the announce table, War Machine then hits Page with Decapitation for a near fall.

War Machine then hits Page with a pop up power slam for a near fall, Hanson then connects with a suicide dive against Cody. Page recovers and he clobbers Rowe with a pair of German suplexes, Cody brawls with Hanson on the arena floor before Page works with him to take Hanson out. Cody then takes a portion of the barricade and he nails Hanson with it, Cody hits Rowe with a Disaster Kick before Page nails him with a lariat for a near fall. Page takes out Hanson again with a suicide dive, Cody catches Rowe with a moonsault and Page follows suit for a near fall. Rowe uses headbutt strikes to block forearm strikes from his opponents, Rowe picks up both opponents and he slams them both to the ground.

Hanson crushes Page with a moonsault for a near fall, Cody drops Hanson neck first on the top rope before an accidental low blow to Page. Cody is knocked out of the ring before Rowe nails him with a suicide dive, Hanson follows suit with a dive onto Cody. War Machine then hit Page with Fallout for the three count.

Winners: War Machine (Raymond Rowe & Hanson), still Your IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions

After the match, the Guerrillas Of Destiny came out to challenge War Machine until the Killer Elite Squad returned and laid everyone out.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi & Michael Elgin vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr. & Takashi Iizuka)

The match begins with an all out brawl breaking out as Suzuki-Gun jumped their opponents before the bell sounded, Iizuka drags Ibushi out of the ring before choking him with a cable. Iizuka throws Ibushi back into the ring while everybody else battles on the arena floor, Iizuka traps Ibushi in the corner before mauling him with strikes. Ibushi fights back before getting jumped by Suzuki and Sabre Jr, Ibushi catches Suzuki and Sabre Jr with a double pele kick. Ibushi drops Iizuka and he then hits him with a standing moonsault for a near fall, Suzuki interferes again and he catches Ibushi with an arm bar in the ropes.

Suzuki grabs a pen and he stabs Elgin with it a few times, another huge brawl breaks out on the arena floor between everybody in the match. Suzuki finds a chair and he attacks Elgin with it, Iizuka drags Ibushi to the crowd while attacking him with a chair. Sabre Jr grabs Tanahashi and he throws him right into the barricade, Taichi interferes and he works over the injured arm of Tanahashi. Iizuka finds another cable wire and he chokes Ibushi with it, Suzuki and Sabre Jr double team Ibushi on the arena floor. Iizuka grabs a piece of rope as he battles Ibushi in the ring and the referee takes it away from him, Suzuki distracts the ref so Iizuka can choke Ibushi with the rope.

Another brawl breaks out on the arena floor between members of both teams, Suzuki smashes the injured arm of Tanahashi on the barricade. Sabre Jr tags in and he wrenches away on the neck of Ibushi, Suzuki tags in and he goes to work on Ibushi. Suzuki and Ibushi get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ibushi eventually drops Suzuki with a drop kick. Elgin tags in and he immediately cleans house on the opposition, Iizuka distracts the referee so members of Suzuki-Gun can attack Elgin and Elgin eliminates them all.

Elgin traps Suzuki in the corner before mauling him with strikes, Elgin then crushes Suzuki with running clotheslines in the corner. Suzuki escapes a suplex and he briefly locks Elgin in a sleeper hold, Suzuki goes for the Gotch style pile driver and Elgin powers his way out of the hold. Sabre Jr and Tanahashi get the tags from their respective partners, Tanahashi goes for a senton bomb and Sabre Jr catches him in an arm bar instead. Suzuki-Gun hit the ring and they triple team Tanahashi, Iizuka chokes Tanahashi with a rope while Suzuki distracts the referee. Sabre Jr catches Tanahashi with a penalty kick for a near fall, another brawl breaks out on the arena floor between members of both teams.

Sabre Jr catches Tanahashi with a guillotine choke inside of the ring, Tanahashi escapes the hold as he catches Sabre Jr with a spinning neck breaker. Elgin tries slamming Tanahashi onto Sabre Jr and Sabre Jr catches him in a triangle choke, Sabre Jr goes for the arm bar next and Tanahashi rolls him up for a near fall. Sabre Jr locks Tanahashi in the octopus hold and Tanahashi taps out.

Winners: Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr. & Takashi Iizuka)

Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Toru Yano, Gedo & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Los Ingobernables (Sanada, Evil, Bushi & Hiromu Takahashi)

The match begins with an all out brawl breaking out between everybody in the match, Okada is trapped in the ring and he manages to take out all the members of Los Ingobernables. Okada then catches Evil with a back elbow strike before landing a DDT, Evil uses the referee to distract Okada nd nail him with a super kick. Evil catches Okada with a neck breaker before tagging Takahashi in, Takahashi attacks Okada with a series of strikes to the neck area. Sanada tags in and he catches the injured neck of Okada with a top rope axe handle drop, Okada recovers and he drops Sanada with a flapjack.

Yano tags in and he starts playing his games with Sanada, Sanada eventually drops Yano and he puts him in the Paradise Lock. Another brawl breaks out all over the place between everybody in the match, Okada and Evil brawl in the ring while Yano remains in the Paradise Lock. Sanada finally gets to nail Yano with a running basement drop kick, Bushi tags in and he crushes Yano with a missile drop kick. Bushi takes off his shirt and he chokes Yano with it, Yano drops Bushi and he eventually makes the tag to Ishii. Ishii quickly cleans house on all four of his opponents, Ishii traps Bushi in the corner before assaulting him with strikes.

Bushi fights back and Ishii drops him with a lariat for a near fall, Ishii goes for the brain buster and sanada nails him with a drop kick so Bushi can catch him with a lung blower. Takahashi tags in and Ishii eventually drops him with another lariat, Gedo tags in and he cracks Takahashi with a series of jabs. Takahashi recovers and he cracks Gedo with a dragon screw leg whip followed by a drop kick, Takahashi hits Gedo with a falcon arrow for a near fall. Yano interferes and he nails Takahashi with an atomic drop, Sanada hits the ring to lay out Yano with an atomic drop

Everybody hist the ring to take everybody else out, Gedo catches Takahashi in the Gedo Clutch and Sanada breaks it all up. Takahashi locks Gedo in the triangle choke and a tap out follows.

Winners: Los Ingobernables (Sanada, Evil, Bushi & Hiromu Takahashi)

After the match, Evil nails Okada with Darkness Falls onto a pile of chairs.

NJPW G1 Climax 27 Finals: Tetsuya Naito (Block A Winner) vs. Kenny Omega (Block B Winner)

The match begins with Naito nailing Omega with a few strikes before spitting at him, Omega gets mad and he attacks Naito with some chops. Naito then knocks Omega to the arena floor before pretending to go for the suicide dive, Naito follows Omega to the arena floor and Omega catches him with a moonsault form the barricade. Omega throws Naito back into the ring before nailing him with a springboard bulldog for a near fall, Naito uses a leg sweep to drop Omega on the ring apron. Naito follows that up by nailing Omega with a neck breaker on the ring apron, Naito drags Omega to the arena floor before landing another neck breaker.

Naito throws Omega back into the ring before just attacking his injured neck, Naito trips up Omega and then nails him with a drop kick. Omega rolls out of the ring before catching him with a suicide dive, Naito drags Omega onto the announcers table before crushing him with a pile driver from the table to the arena floor. Naito waits for Omega to get back into the ring before attacking him with a German suplex for a near fall, Naito goes for the slingshot drop kick and Omega gets him away by getting his boots in the air.

Omega would then catch Naito with a running back breaker for the near fall, Omega followed a downed Naito around the ring while stomping away on him. Omega then catches Naito with a back suplex for a near fall, Naito traps Omega on the second rope before catching him with a neck breaker. Naito drops Omega again before catching him with a drop kick to the side of the head, Naito trips up Omega in the corner before catching him with a slingshot drop kick. Omega recovers to knock Naito out of the ring with a snap dragon suplex, Omega eventually catches Naito with a suicide dive. Omega tosses Naito back into the ring before catching him with a missile drop kick for a near fall, Naito misses an enzaguri and Omega nails him with a German suplex.

Omega follows that up by catching Naito with a cross legged back breaker, Naito recovers and he nails Omega with a satellite DDT. Naito traps Omega in the corner and Omega somehow drops him on the top turnbuckle, Omega then hits Naito with a snap dragon suplex followed by a V Trigger for a near fall. Naito recovers just enough to catch Omega with another DDT, Naito traps Omega in the ropes before nailing him with a modified back breaker. Naito then hits Omega with an enzaguri followed by a flying forearm strikes, Naito would then hit Omega with a pump handle side slam for a near fall. Naito goes for Destino and Omega counters with a modified tombstone pile driver for a near fall, Omega goes to the top rope and Naito follows him up there.

Omega crushes Naito with a top rope DDT onto the ring post, Omega goes for a super power bomb and Naito counters with a super hurricarana. Naito puts Omega on the middle rope before nailing him with a reverse hurricarana for a near fall, Naito goes for a twisting moonsault and Omega gets out of the way. Omega then crushes Naito with a double under hook pile driver for another near fall, Omega comes forward and he destroys Naito with some knee strikes to the head. Omega hits Naito with a gut wrench power bomb for a near fall, Omega then catches Naito with another V Trigger. Omega goes for the One Winged Angel and Naito counters with a reverse hurricarana, Naito hits Omega with Destino for a near fall.

Naito goes for Destino again and Omega counters with a German suplex for a near fall, Omega then cracks Naito with anotherseries of V Triggers. Omega goes for the One Winged Angel and Naito counters by landing Destino, Omega and Naito have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Omega rocks Naito badly by landing some more V Triggers, Naito quickly recovers and he catches Omega with a German suplex for another near fall. Naito catches Omega with another Destino for another near fall, Naito lands yet another Destino for the three count.

Winner: Tetsuya Naito
