A major title match on tonight's No Mercy show has been called off.
After much speculation, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon confirmed that Smackdown Women's Championship was unable to compete on tonight's WWE No Mercy due to what they called an "out-of-the ring medical situation."
Lynch was scheduled to defend her championship against top contender Alexa Bliss. McMahon and Bryan stated that Bliss will remain the number one contender, and will still compete on the show.
Furthermore, Bryan and McMahon told Bliss that she will still also get her Championship match, but that it was delayed. Instead, Bliss will face Lynch for the title November 8 in Scotland.
