Paul Daley Blasts Bellator MMA, Vowing To Leave Promotion

It would appear that veteran fighter Paul Daley and Bellator MMA are going through a bad stretch in their relationship right now.

Bellator MMA President Scott Coker recently stated the following about Daley’s longtime rival Michael “Venom” Page at a Bellator 192 press conference:

Dark Side Of The Cage To Premiere In January, Will Cover Ronda Rousey, Matt Hughes, Kimbo Slice, More

“I think we’re scheduling right now; either he’ll be fighting in the U.K. for us or the show in San Jose in May. I’d say April or May I think we’ll have him back. We’re gonna sit down with him, and we’re gonna keep him busy. I know he wants to box, which is fine for me. I have no problem with that. We’re going to keep him busy. I know he wants to box, which is fine for me. I have no problem with that, but he’s got to pick up his MMA fights because we’ve got to keep that guy busy. The guy is a big star, and he’s extremely talented, and I’d just like to see him fight in the cage more.”

That statement has apparently angered the longtime British MMA star, who vented his frustrations with the promotion through Facebook:

Daley and MVP have been rumored to be fighting each other for awhile now, especially after a brief physical altercation in the crowd at Bellator 179.

The angered Daley doesn’t have the next fight in the promotion scheduled at this time, but either way, it won’t come against the man that he has hated for so long.

Neither MVP or Bellator MMA officials have yet to respond to the comments made by Daley.
