After taking time off for various injuries, one superstar looks to make his return tonight on Raw.
PWInsider is reporting that Samoa Joe is backstage for tonight's episode of Raw. Joe has been out of action for most of the fall, last appearing at SummerSlam where he, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar competed in a fatal four way for the WWE Universal title. He took time off following that match to get surgery on his knee, as well as fix his nose, which has been broken repeatedly in the past.
It was originally speculated that, after teasing a fifth person for their team, The Miz would introduce Samoa Joe as the fifth person on his team for the WWE TLC main event. However, that spot instead went to Kane, who made his return after being gone from TV for nearly a year. Miz's team lost to the team of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Kurt Angle at the event.
Nia Jax is also expected to return tonight. Her situation is a weird one, as it was originally reported she was taking a leave of absence due to personal reasons. While one report said it wasn't a big deal, another report said that there was more to the story than that.
