The aftermath of UFC 202 brought a large number of medical suspensions, including Conor McGregor, who got a suspension of up to six months.
A total of 13 suspensions were handed out by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which oversaw the whole card. The list was reported by MMA Junkie and the suspensions are as follows:
* Conor McGregor: Needs left foot/ankle cleared by orthopedic doctor or no contest until December 17; minimum suspension until October 20 with no contact in training until October 5.
* Nate Diaz: Suspended until September 20 with no contact in training until September 11.
* Glover Teixeira: Suspended until November 19 with no contact in training until October 20.
* Rick Story: Suspended until October 5 with no contact in training until September 20.
* Hyun Gyu Lim: Suspended until October 5 with no contact in training until September 20.
* Sabah Homasi: Suspended until October 20 with no contact in training until October 5.
* Takeya Mizugaki: Suspended until October 5 with no contact in training until September 20.
* Artem Lobov: Must have right leg and ankle X-rayed; if positive then must have orthopedic doctor clearance or no contest until February 17.
* Chris Avila: Suspended until September 20 with no contact in training until September 11.
* Lorenz Larkin: Suspended until October 5 with no contact in training until September 20 due to left eyebrow and shin lacerations
* Neil Magny: Must have left leg X-rayed; if positive then must have orthopedic doctor clearance or no contest until February 17. Minimum suspension until September 20 with no contact until September 11.
* Max Griffin: Suspended until October 20 with no contact in training until October 5.
* Marvin Vettori: Suspended until October 5 with no contact in training until September 20 due to left eyebrow laceration
UFC 202 took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 20. The main event saw Conor McGregor defeat Nate Diaz via majority decision. A rubber match between the two will not take until 2017 because of the suspensions.
