UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley is coming off of a not so entertaining title defense against Damien Maia at UFC 214.
One of the fights biggest critics was UFC President Dana White and now the welterweight champion wants an apology from him.
“I’m owed a public apology. You are going to publicly scrutinize me, Dana White? You publicly need to apologise to me. I’ve nothing but good stuff for the sport. I have done nothing but be a good model for the organization. I go out there and I fight with integrity,” Woodley said on The MMA Hour.
Woodley and White have butted heads before, as White was also critical of Woodley’s performance in a rematch with Stephen Thompson at UFC 209.
The UFC Welterweight Champion is also making some threats towards the UFC President, assuming he doesn’t get his public apology.
“If I dont get that [apology], I am going to start leaking some s**t that people don’t want to be out in the wind. And I’m not even kidding about that,” says Woodley.
White has yet to make a response of any kind some the public apology was demanded by the welterweight champion.
