Prior to the UFC 244: MASVIDAL vs DIAZ ceremonial weigh-ins, UFC will host a press conference with Dana White, Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington, Max Holloway, Alexander Volkanovski, Amanda Nunes, and Germaine de Randamie on Friday, November 1 at 5 p.m. ET at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
- Usman, Covington, GDR, Nunes, Volkanovski and Holloway are at the presser.
- Usman says he just wants this fight with Colby Covington to finally happen. Covington says he's only doing it because Dan Lambert wants it. Covington still has his old-style interim title.
- Covington says people would rather watch flies fuck than see Usman fight. He says that Usman pissed hot and that's why they aren't fighting this weekend.
- Colby Covington says Kurt Angle will be at UFC 245 to support him, if the WWE schedule permits it.
- GDR reinforces her desire to compete at 135. She doesn't care about public perception or the title. She wants to fight the best, and says Nunes is the best.
- Covington offers Usman money if he can pass a drug test right now.
- Usman says there will be a beheading at UFC 245. Asks Colby if he can even read, as he pretends to be reading Donald Trump Jr's "Triggered"
- Covington says the Blackzilians are notorious for doing steroids, and he was tipped off that Usman was doing roids.
- Covington says Usman passes up fights all the time.
