Eric Bischoff speaks to media at Starrcast IV, courtesy of Jeremy Lambert.
- Bischoff is thankful for the opportunity WWE provided, and it just didn't work out and was a bad fit. He had a talk with Vince McMahon about a week and a half ago and things were good. He says WWE was open about the opportunity.
- He's still interested in creative opportunities, but doesn't know if he'll work in wrestling again.
- Bischoff doesn't think he'll go into commentary.
- He doesn't think comparing the Wednesday Night Wars and the Monday Night Wars is fair.
- The only connective tissue he sees between AEW Dynamite and WCW Nitro is that they're both on TNT.
- Bischoff says AEW lights the crowd very well. He puts over Jeff Hornstein and Keith Mitchell.
- He says that he likes the fact that Cody and All Elite Wrestling aren't trying to be reactionary.
- Nobody ever told him that he was brought in to work with the transition to Fox. He did have conversations with Fox executives.
- The authority work is a challenge, but wrestling needs a frame work and it will always be a part of the industry, but thinks it's been over done.
- Vince McMahon is a very hands-on indidividual. Bischoff believes they've been so successful because of his attention to detail.
