AEW Continental Challenge Cup Quarterfinal Bouts Announced
The AEW Continental Challenge Cup will continue on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Saturday’s AEW Collision.
On Dynamite, Nigel McGuinness will take on Hechicero, and Jay White will battle Jon Moxley.
McGuinness defeated Katsuyori Shibata in the first round while Hechicero bested Brian Cage. White defeated David Finlay, and Moxley defeated Jack Perry to move on.
On Collision, Eddie Kingston takes on Claudio Castagnoli and Orange Cassidy faces off against Kyle O’Reilly.
Kingston got past Jake Doyle in the first round while Claudio defeated Ace Austin. Cassidy defeated Matt Sydal while O’Reilly upended Roderick Strong to advance.
The finals of the Continental Challenge Cup will take place at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. The winner of the tournament will receive a trophy and become the Continental Champion, which automatically enters them into the Continental Cup in November.
