Chelsea Green speaks on her recent orbital injury, noting that no broken bones are ever going to keep her down.
At WWE SummerSlam earlier this month, Green would capture her first WWE World Championship, capturing the WWE Women’s Interim Championship in a ladder match at the event. However, her reign was brought into question after she suffered a broken orbital bone injury.
While speaking to ETalk in a new interview, Chelsea Green spoke about her injury, noting that no broken bones are ever going to keep her down.
“You know what, I’ve been doing this 13 years, no broken bones are ever going to keep me down. At this point I’ve had, well, at this point I’ve had heart surgery, I’ve had a broken ankle, collarbone, nose, cheekbone, orbital bone, and three broken arms, and we’re good. I wake up feeling amazing every single day. So especially at this point in my career, there’s not a single thing that can happen to me that is going to keep me down because I’ve been waiting my entire career for this moment. So I’m ready to go. Put me in, coach. I will fight with a broken orbital bone, whatever I need to do.”
Elsewhere in another interview, Green previously spoke about Rhea Ripley being underrated. You can read more about that here.
