Luke Menzies On Process Of Choosing His WWE Ring Name: There Was A Ton Of Better Names Than Ridge Holland

Luke Menzies, formerly known as Ridge Holland, speaks on the process of choosing his WWE ring name and how Triple H played a part.

Menzies was a part of the WWE roster for several years before exiting the company in November of 2025, and has been branching back out onto the independent wrestling scene after. During his time in WWE, Menzies would wrestle under the ring name Ridge Holland.

While speaking to Simon Miller on Under The Mat, Luke Menzies was asked about the process of choosing his WWE name, noting that he thinks there was ‘a ton of better names’ on the table, but Triple H liked the Ridge Holland name.

“They just asked me to give 20 first names, 20 surnames, and there was a ton of better names, and They came back and they said, Triple H likes Ridge Holland. I’m like, well, okay, then I guess if he likes it, I guess I’m Ridge Holland then.”
