Ryohei Oiwa Says He’ll Come Storming Into AEW To Face MJF
The war of words between Ryohei Oiwa and MJF is continuing.
Ryohei Oiwa won the NJPW G1 Climax 36, defeating Yuya Uemura with a headlock. MJF has since criticized Oiwa’s talent, while noting that he’s a better headlock wrestler.
Oiwa invited MJF to compete in the G1, but MJF declined.
After the One True Champion took another shot at Oiwa and NJPW while praising Adam Brooks, Oiwa responded by saying, “Don’t underestimate New Japan. If you’re scared of stepping into G1 next year, I’ll come storming into your ring myself. Let’s decide the No. 1 headlock wrestler”

Oiwa has never competed in AEW.
He is set to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Title at NJPW King Of Pro-Wrestling.
