Speedball Mike Bailey: I Would Do The Wrestling For Free, But They Would Have To Pay Me To Do The Traveling

Speedball Mike Bailey notes that they would wrestle for free, but would have to be paid in order to do the traveling involved.

Speedball is no stranger to wrestling around the world, having competed in Mexico, Europe, the US, his home country of Canada and more. They are also very passionate about their wrestling career, continuing to compete despite a ban from the United States for several years. Now, Bailey has noted the part of the profession that he needs to be paid for.

While speaking to WCHS in a new interview, Speedball Mike Bailey noted that they would do wrestling for free, but would have to be paid to travel as much as they do.

“I would do the wrestling for free. They would have to pay me to do the traveling. But it’s, yeah, like you said, it’s an absolute grind. There’s no off-season. This is a year-round thing. So that means training all the time. Typical days are going from the airport to the hotel to the gym to the show, and it just never stops.”
