Steve Maclin Won’t Reveal Who Let Him Into AEW Dynamite, Comments On Possibly Joining Don Callis Family
Steve Maclin comments on his possible future with AEW.
Maclin made an unauthorized appearance at a recent AEW Dynamite taping, attacking Adam Copeland in the process. In a new interview with Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Jeremy Lambert asked Maclin to reveal who let him in the door at Dynamite.
“Nope.”
When he was backstage, Maclin was asked by multiple people if he was joining the company.
“It’s fun to just kind of dive into certain situations. Taking advantage of Dynamite that night was fun for me, just because it’s an opportunity. That’s all I’ve ever asked for and anytime I get an opportunity, I try to nail it out of the park. It was fun to be behind the scenes and see some people back there at AEW that were like, ‘Oh, you’re here? Is this happening?’ I’m like, ‘Time will tell.’”
Lambert then joked with Maclin about becoming the latest member of the Don Callis Family.
“I think I’d look pretty good in a suit, though. You don’t think I’d look good in a suit all dressed up?”
