Thekla Vs. Mercedes Mone For AEW Women’s World Title Official For AEW WrestleDream
Thekla gets a title shot against Mercedes Mone at AEW WrestleDream.
At AEW All Out 2026, Thekla and Willow Nightingale went up against each other to determine Mercedes Mone’s challenger for the AEW Women’s World Championship at WrestleDream.
Mercedes Mone won the title from Willow at AEW All In, while Willow had previously defeated Thekla for the belt at AEW Redemption.
Sisters of Sin interfered towards the end of the match. The bout ended after Willow failed to lift Thekla for a powerbomb because of her injured left hand. The Toxic Spider then delivered two stomps to Willow—first to her hand and the next to her neck—for the pinfall.

As per the stipulation, she will now face Mercedes at AEW WrestleDream for the Women’s World Title. Following the match, Mone came out and stared down her next challenger.
