For the second week in a row, WWE SmackDown viewership is up in the era of “The Tribal Chief.”
According to overnight numbers released by Showbuzz Daily, the October 2 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.042 million viewers, up from the 2.032 million viewers the September 25 episode averaged.
In the 18-49 demographic, the show averaged a 0.55 rating, which is identical to last week's rating. Between ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC, SmackDown took a backseat to Jimmy Kimmel Live and the NBA Finals. The show also drew a 0.7 rating in the 25-54 demographic, which is also identical to last week's rating in that same demo.
Hourly Breakdown:
Hour 1: 2.105 million viewers, 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic
Hour 2: 1.980 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic
