The longest-reigning NXT Champion has a new target.
Adam Cole hasn't been seen on NXT television since losing the NXT Championship to Keith Lee at Great American Bash, but he did make an appearance on Thursday's Pat McAfee Show. Cole and McAfee have history that dates back to 2018 when McAfee got involved in Cole's match against Aleister Black at an NXT live event.
Since then, the two have traded social media shots on-and-off.
On Thursday, the shots continued as McAfee and Cole jabbed each other during the interview with McAfee trying to discredit Cole's NXT Title run and status as a wrestler and Cole trying to discredit McAfee's NFL career and wrestling experience. Things all blew up when McAfee had the audacity to call out Cole for his size. Cole stood up and confronted McAfee, dropped a "fuck you" and shoved McAfee's co-host before walking off.

Maybe next time McAfee should invite Ronald on his show. He's much cooler than Adam Cole, though Ronald would have smacked the lips of McAfee if he got out of line.
