Adam Cole Thinks AEW-NXT Going Head-To-Head Is Exciting, 'It Brings Out The Best In Both'

On Wedesday, November 6th AEW and NXT will go head-to-head once again when NXT moves to Wednesday for one night due to election coverage taking place on Tuesday.

NXT and AEW went head-to-head from October 2019 to April 2021 with AEW winning the majority of the weeks until NXT moved to Tuesday nights.

Adam Cole was one of the faces of NXT during that time before he signed with AEW in September 2021.

Speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Cole was asked about AEW and NXT going head-to-head once more.

"I think it’s very exciting. I feel any time there is any kind of competition within pro wrestling, it has been nothing but a positive. When there is only one show in town, it can only do so much. I think when there are situations where people can challenge each other or go up against each other, it brings out the best in both places. It’s nothing but a good thing. It’s good for the wrestlers and fans alike," he said.

NXT will be back on Tuesday nights on November 12th.
