Finn Balor is getting a shot to recapture the NXT Championship next week.
Balor won a No. 1 Contenders match against Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee in the main event of NXT, securing a match against NXT Champion Adam Cole on December 18.
A former NXT Champion in his own right, Balor has been on a solid win streak since returning to the black and gold brand, picking up wins over Ciampa in a prior episode of NXT and against Matt Riddle at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
