Adam Copeland Defeats Christian Cage In 'I Quit' Match, Wins TNT Championship On 3/20 AEW Dynamite

Adam Copeland is the new TNT Champion.

On the March 20 episode of Dynamite, Copeland and Cage competed in the third singles match in their triology, an 'I Quit' match. In the closing stretch of the bout, Shayna Wayne came to the ring and struck Copeland in the groin with a hockey stick. This allowed Cage to regain the advantage and position Copeland for a Con-Chair-To spot.

Copeland was able to roll out of the way of the spot and eventually lock in a crossface with the drawstring from his pants. Cage was moments away from giving up when Nick Wayne and Killswitch broke up the submission.

Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard came out to help Copeland, as they handcuffed Wayne and Killswitch to the turnbuckles. Copeland then helped Garcia and Menard handcuff Cage to a seperate turnbuckle post.

Copeland then struck Cage in the groin with multiple kicks before pulling out his signature spike. Cage finally gave up after Copeland threatened to hit him in the head with the spike, just seconds after he was hit in the groin with it.
