It's Wednesday, and you know what that means! It's time for AEW Dynamite!

Tonight begins a very special week for AEW as they celebrate AEW Dynamite's third anniversary. Chris Jericho, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Darby Allin, Britt Baker, and more are all still here after 3 years but the landscape certainly looks different and tonight will be a celebration. Tonight will also be a celebration of scissoring.

NJPW Ranbo Announced For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, KOPW Title Officially Retired

Here's everything you need to know before tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS!

National Scissoring Day Celebration

Yo, listen!

It's National Scissoring Day and it comes just one day after National Taco Day! Tonight, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn will hold a celebration of the wonderful art of scissoring. Everyone will be scissoring each other: moms, dads, brothers and sisters, stepbrothers, and stepsisters. It's all fair game on National Scissoring Day. Dwayne Johnson probably won't be allowed in, however, because no rocks are going to smash this scissor party.

Scissor me, Daddy Ass!

The Spotlight Is On Daniel Garcia In A Main Event Tag Match

Daniel Garcia has been caught in between Bryan Danielson and Chris Jericho for several weeks now. Tonight, that all comes to a head as Garcia teams with Danielson to face Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. Daniel Garcia is still a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society and that may mean that Bryan Danielson is walking into a trap but, Daniel Garcia undoubtedly shares Bryan Danielson's love of pure wrestling even if Chris Jericho just wants him to admit that he is a Sports Entertainer.

Tonight, it could very well be decision time for Garcia. will he fight with the force of pure wrestling or will he permanently lay his allegiance with sports entertainment in the Ring of Jericho?

The War Dog vs. Swolverine

In his first championship match in AEW in quite some time, Brian Cage will challenge Wardlow for the AEW TNT Championship. Brian Cage now represents The Embassy and Ring of Honor but he and Wardlow share a similar path and at one time, Brian was looked at in the same light as Wardlow. Now, these two massive individuals will collide with the winner walking away with the prestigious championship. While high-impact moves are to be expected, both of these men are also very agile for their size so there could be some high-flying in this match as well. It all goes down tonight on TBS.

Wheeler Yuta Looks To Make MJF Suffer

Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Wheeler Yuta are no strangers to one another. However, tonight, they will kick-off Dynamite in a one-on-one match for the first time ever in AEW. Maxwell has a guaranteed shot at the world title and Jon Moxley whenever he wants it, but Wheeler Yuta is fighting for something arguably more important, his pride and the pride of those in the Blackpool Combat Club. Can Wheeler make Maxwell eat his words? He's damn sure going to try tonight.

Darby Allin Takes On Jay Lethal

As both men look to get back into title pictures, Darby Allin and Jay Lethal will go one-on-one tonight. in an effort to prove that he can do things on his own, Jay Lethal says Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh will not be ringside for this match. However, if he goes back on his word, Darby may have Sting waiting in the wings.

Women's Trios Action With Saraya And Britt Baker At Ringside

In women's action, Toni Storm will team with Athena and Willow Nightingale to take on the trio of Jamie Hayter, Serena Deeb, and Penelope Ford. Saraya, formerly Paige in WWE, will be in the corner of the baby faces while Britt Baker will be in the corner of the heels. Last week, battle lines were drawn, and this week, the team-based combat continues. Who will get the upper hand in this new rivalry?

Luchasaurus In Action

Luchasaurus, with Christian Cage by his side, will be in action tonight. No longer the fun-loving dinosaur we all remember, Luchasaurus is on a path of destruction but eventually, he will have to cross paths with his old tag team partner, Jack Perry.

RUSH vs. Hangman

Hangman Page will challenge for the world championship in exactly 13 nights on a special Tuesday night edition of Dynamite on October 18. In order to get ready for that match against Jon Moxley, he will be facing someone that Jon Moxley has already beaten, RUSH. This match also has added tension due to the ongoing issues between Andrade El Idolo and The Dark Order, Hangman's friends. This match is sure to be a hard-hitting affair as these two men go one-on-one for the first time ever in AEW.

That is everything that is announced for tonight's episode.FTR, Jade Cargill, Samoa Joe, and more are all walking around backstage with gold of their own as the road to Full Gear continues with the start of anniversary week.
