AEW announced that Sammy Guevara will get his rematch for the AEW TNT Championship against Cody Rhodes on Saturday, January 8 at AEW Battle of the Belts.
Cody defeated Guevara on the Christmas episode of AEW Rampage to become a three-time AEW TNT Champion.

AEW Battle of the Belts is the first quarterly special set to air on TNT as part of AEW's new deal in 2022 when Dynamite moves to TBS. Tony Khan previously confirmed that the event will run for one hour.
