A championship match has been announced for next week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
On December 29, Jurassic Express and Christian Cage teamed up with the Lucha Bros to face FTR, Matt Hardy, and Private Party. After some miscommunication on the part of the babyfaces, FTR was able to hit the Big Rig on Cage for the pin and win.
Backstage, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, and Cage confronted the Lucha Bros and challenged them to an AEW World Tag Team Title match next Wednesday. Jurassic Express is currently the #1 contenders to the titles. Penta and Fenix accepted and then told Jungle Boy that if he wants to be the future of the company he needs to let go of the past (Christian).
On January 5 AEW makes its debut on TBS after being on TNT for the first 2 and a half years of its existence.
