Powerhouse Hobbs earned a shot at the AEW World Title, winning the Casino Gauntlet on the January 8th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Hobbs will challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title at AEW Maximum Carnage on January 15th.
Hobbs entered the gauntlet at number seven and pinned Kyle O'Reilly following a spinebuster.

After the match, Hobbs said he would make Jon Moxley his bitch.
Hobbs challenged Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title on the April 24, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite. Hobbs suffered a leg injury in the bout that kept him sidelined until November.
