WWE Universal Title match is official for Money In The Bank.
On tonight's episode of Raw, AJ Styles cemented his status as the number one contender for the WWE Universal Title. Styles won two bouts on Raw, earning himself a shot at Seth Rollins and his belt at Money In The Bank on May 19.
Styles was victorious in a triple threat match against Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio to kick off the night. As a result of his victory, he moved on to the main event, where he faced Baron Corbin, who successfully defeated The Miz and Drew McIntyre in a triple threat match of his own. Styles and Corbin met in the final bout of the night with the winner moving on to face Rollins at Money In The Bank. Styles picked up the victory with the Phenomenal Forearm.
After the match, Rollins came face-to-face with his upcoming challenger. The two men showed mutual respect, shaking hands to end the show.
