AJ Styles' 2016 Royal Rumble entrance, his WWE debut, provided one of the loudest crowd reactions in WWE history and Styles thinks Vince McMahon thought the reaction was a fluke.

"I think Vince thought it was a fluke, that it was a one-off," Styles said.

In regards to his own feelings on the reaction he received, Styles also did not expect the loud cheers and called it a moment that will live on in WWE history.

"The reaction was unbelievable. I did not expect that. It was one of those things in WWE history that will forever be there because it was that kind of reaction that I don't think anyone expected that. I definitely don't think Vince expected that," Styles said.

Since that Royal Rumble appearance, Styles has held the WWE Championship and is currently the United States Champion. Since the WWE Draft last year, Styles has been one of SmackDown Live's top stars and has been in a marquee match at WrestleMania 33, where he fought SmackDown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon.
