Alberto El Patron Discusses Nacion Lucha Libre's Return, Carlito, Cinta de Oro, And More Advertised

Nacion Lucha Libre, led by Alberto El Patron, is returning.

Patron, previously known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE, founded the promotion in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic subsequently forced the company to go on hiatus. Two years later, Nacion Lucha Libre will host its return event on September 24.

Speaking with Riju Dasgupta of Sportskeeda Wrestling, El Patron discussed the return and noted that he's ready to get back to business.

"We started back in 2019 doing great things with the company. Unfortunately, we had to close business and put the company on pause because of COVID. We didn’t have the money or the infrastructure like other companies to survive COVID, so we had to put everything on pause. Now that the world is looking better when it comes to the COVID situation, we’re ready to go back in business," El Patron said.

Several noteworthy names are advertised for the show, including Cinta de Oro (formerly known as Sin Cara), Samuray Del Sol (formerly known as Kalisto), Primo Colon, and Carlito.
