Some great news for Alberto El Patron.
The 'Combates Americas' official Twitter account shared that their former figurehead President Alberto El Patron has gained his American citizenship and in the video below El Patron stated that he received a perfect score on the exam. The video is in Spanish and to add, it took El Patron ten years to gain American citizenship.
The former Unified GFW World Heavyweight Champion was released from IMPACT Wrestling on April 7th because he no-showed the 'IMPACT Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground' event that took place in New Orleans the night prior to his release. El Patron's release from IMPACT caused a change to the main event of the company's 'Redemption' PPV which was just a few weeks later.
El Patron competed at the 'Revolucha Impuls' event just eight days after being released from IMPACT and it has already been announced that he will be returning to AAA for 'Triplemanía XXVI' on August 25th.
