Alexa Bliss is honored.
WWE's first-ever all-women's PPV 'Evolution' takes place next month at the Nassau Coliseum on October 28th. As of this writing there are only three matches that have been officially announced for the event by WWE. Those three matches being the finals of the Mae Young Classic tournament, WWE Hall Of Famer Lita versus Mickie James, and WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus taking on the former five-time Women's Champion Alexa Bliss.
Bliss versus Trish was the first match announced for 'Evolution' and Alexa found out that she was going to be dancing with the WWE Hall Of Famer through social media. To promote the 'Evolution' PPV and her match with Trish, Bliss spoke with Sky Sports for an exclusive interview and discussed how she is honored to have received similar opportunities from WWE and being able to step into the ring with a woman who she's idolized since she became fond of the pro wrestling business.
"I've been very fortunate with WWE because they've given me many opportunities," said Bliss."I've been fortunate with them all but I am very, very excited for this match. It is definitely a dream match for me and to know that people wanted this match and that WWE trusted me to have this match, I'm very honored. It is definitely going to be a great, personal accomplishment for me. I am really excited for it."
Before her match at 'Evolution', Bliss has the opportunity to walk into the all-women's event as a four time RAW Women's Champion as she will challenge Ronda Rousey for the championship this Sunday at WWE's 'Hell In A Cell' PPV.
