Katch underwent surgery after she suffered an injury during her match with Effy at The People vs. GCW on January 19th, as she broke her leg in two places.

On January 22nd, Allie Katch took to Twitter/X to comment on the situation, as she noted that everything happened for a reason. She stated what was meant for her would find her, and she was open to receiving whatever the universe wanted her to learn. Katch also said that she was still champion material, and she would be when the time was right.

In another post, Katch wrote that she was told it would be six weeks before she would walk without crutches, but then the ortho said it would be sooner after she walked down the hall and up and down the stairs.
