Anthony Bowens argues with Max Caster.
Bowens and Caster, collectively known as The Acclaimed, faced The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) at AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen. After Caster tagged himself in, Bowens dropped off the apron and simply watched as Lashley and Benjamin dominated Caster before they scored the win. Bowens then walked to the back.
In a digital exclusive, Anthony Bowens was asked to comment on what happened, and he told the interviewer to ask Max Caster.
Max Caster: What you just witnessed was the best wrestler alive in action, a two-on-one attack by The Hurt Syndicate, a cowardly act by a couple of cowards. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. We don’t want them here because the best wrestler alive may have lost that battle…
Anthony Bowens: Are you kidding me, Max? This best wrestler alive bullshit? You got exactly what you deserve out there. You’ve been pissing me off for months, so much so that Billy [Gunn] doesn’t even want to show up and deal with you.
MC: You know what? F*ck Billy. I’m the leader of The Acclaimed. I gotta deal with Billy.
AB: The only reason why I haven’t punched you in the face is because Billy asked me not to.
Bowens then walked away again as Caster sarcastically told him to keep listening to Gunn.
