Everybody loves championship gold.
The world of wrestling rejoiced last Wednesday when The Acclaimed were able to knock off Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland) to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The win marks the first time that Bowens and Caster have held championship gold within the confines of All Elite Wrestling.
Leading up to the anticipated match, Anthony Bowens often talked about how he wanted to become AEW's first openly gay champion. In a new Twitter post, Bowens celebrated the title win.
When my Nana passed in 2015 I promised her I’d be a success. Nana, I made it!
