Apollo Crews wants revenge for the way he has been treated by Big E.
The two men have been feuding in recent months, with things getting more contentious after Apollo threw steel steps onto Big E, causing a Brachial Plexus injury. This was brought upon after the Intercontinental Champion refused to give Apollo another rematch, having beat him several times before.
With Big E out injured, Apollo embraced his Nigerian roots, revealing that his ancestors were royalty. He was given a title opportunity at Fastlane, but once again came up short.
Now, with another shot at the belt at WrestleMania 37, Crews has challenged Big E to a Nigerian Drum Fight. He said the following:
"An ancient duel created by my ancestors for those who were wronged to get a chance to make it right. No rules, no limitations, just a beating so loud it sounds like a drum. This is the fate I wish for you Big E."
