Apollo Crews has returned to NXT!
During the June 7 episode of NXT 2.0, Bron Breakker came out and addressed his victory over Joe Gacy at In Your House and questioned what's next. Much to the surprise of everyone in attendance, Apollo Crews' music hit, and the Raw Superstar made his way to the ring.
Without Commander Azeez or his accent, Crews said that he is here for as long as he wants to be. He added that he left NXT too soon and left a lot of things on the table. Crews concluded by saying that he is back to correct and make history. As for Breakker, Crews tells him that one day they'll be making some history together.
Crews made his NXT debut in August 2015 but moved to the main roster not too long after in April 2016. He is a former Intercontinental and United States Champion. He last competed on the May 30 episode of Main Event, defeating Akira Tozawa. He hasn't been featured on Raw since March 21.
