The relationship between NXT and TNA Wrestling continues to bear fruit.
The opening to the September 19th episode of TNA iMPACT! erupted in chaos as Alisha Edwards called out Masha Slamovich, blaming her for the loss of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship at TNA Victory Road. The verbal confrontation quickly turned physical as Masha revealed that she does speak English and understands that Edwards was berating her. This led to The System's Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards, and Tasha Steelz coming out to help Alisha. While Matt Hardy, Jordynne Grace, and Jeff Hardy came to the aid of Slamovich.
This chaos led to Santino Marella coming out to book The Hardys and Slamovich against Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and Tasha Steelz for later in the evening. As for Jordynne Grace, she will get the opportunity to settle the score with Rosemary and Wendy Choo. The liaison of NXT, Arianna Grace, announced that she had booked a mystery NXT competitor to team with Grace against Wendy and Rosemary on the September 26 episode of TNA iMPACT!
