Asuka Provides Update After Undergoing Knee Surgery

Asuka gives an update on her injury.

Asuka posted a new vlog revealing she has undergone knee surgery and doctors told her the surgery, which took 90 minutes, was a success. She was discharged the day after surgery.

She said she would be moving to a rehabilitation center to begin rehab. The video ends. with the words “See you soon.”

In May, Asuka posted a vlog to her YouTube channel, saying that after the European tour, she needed to get treatment on her knee that had been hurting her for a while.

Asuka last wrestled at WWE Backlash, teaming with Sane to take on Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair. Cargill & Belair were victorious, winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Asuka was announced for the Queen of the Ring tournament, but replaced by Dakota Kai due to her injury.

It is unknown when Asuka will return to action. Fightful wishes her the best in her recovery.
