Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) have been released by WWE.
Fightful Select has confirmed the news.
Authors of Pain last wrestled on the January 2nd episode of WWE Main Event. They were aligned with Karrion Kross, Scarlett, & Paul Ellering in the Final Testament.

Authors of Pain were previously released by WWE in September 2020, but returned in 2024 and aligned with the Kross. They were reportedly under contract since 2022.
Paul Ellering was also released by WWE on February 7.
