AXS TV Says Agreement With NJPW Expired At The End Of 2024

New Japan Pro-Wrestling programming will not be airing on AXS TV in the future.

A representative for AXS TV told POST Wrestling, "We will not be airing New Japan Pro Wrestling for the foreseeable future. Our agreement expired at the end of 2024. And we do not comment on the state of current or future agreements."

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer first reported that NPJW programming would be leaving the network.

NJPW programming on AXS TV first aired in 2014. Programming left the network in 2019, but returned in 2022. NJPW programming would air on Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET following TNA iMPACT!

AXS TV would air matches and highlights from recent NJPW shows, but live events did not air on the network.

Live NJPW events air on NJPW World and Triller TV.
