ROH announced in a social media post on Saturday, January 11, 2019, that Bandido has agreed to a new deal with the promotion. While the terms of this new deal weren't disclosed, ROH touted their pride in "signing and developing top talent from around the world."

Bandido came into ROH as part of the LifeBlood faction led by Juice Robinson. At the time of his initial signing, it was reported that Bandido was heavily sought after by both WWE and All Elite Wrestling.
Bandido recently won the 2019 Battle Of Los Angeles tournament in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. was featured in the headlining bout of 2018's "All In" event, where he teamed with Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix to face The Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi.
